This is a decal sheet for all you Israeli Airforce fans out there. This decal sheet will permit you to build 1 of 8 Israeli F-4E's including 3 that flew during the Yom Kippur War in October 1973....one of which was one of the 36 planes supplied by the US and this plane flew in SEA camo. Decal option #1: F-4E "Akrav" (Scorpion) Sqn, Heyl'Ha Avir, in 1982. The colours for this plane are Light Green (FS34227), Pale Stone (FS 33531), Tan (FS 30219) on the topside and Pale Blue (FS 35622) on the underside.
Decal option #2: F-4E "Atalev" (Bat) Sqn, Heyl'Ha Avir, during the Yom Kippur War in October 1973. The colours for this plane are Light Green (FS34227), Pale Stone (FS 33531), Tan (FS 30219) on the topside and Pale Blue (FS 35622) on the underside and Dark Green (FS 34079) and Pale Grey (FS 36622) on the drop tanks.
Decal option #3: Kurnass 2000 "Atalev" Sqn, Heyl'Ha Avir, in 1994. The colours for this plane are Light Green (FS34227), Pale Stone (FS 33531), Tan (FS 30219) on the topside and Pale Blue (FS 35622) on the underside.
Decal option #4: F-4E(S) "Atalev" Sqn, Heyl'Ha Avir, in 1988. The colours for this plane are Light Green (FS34227), Pale Stone (FS 33531), Tan (FS 30219) on the topside and Pale Blue (FS 35622) on the underside and Dark Green (FS 34079 and Pale Grey (FS 36622) on the drop tanks.
Decal option #5: F-4E "Zanav Katom" (Orange Tails) Sqn, Heyl'Ha Avir, in 1982. The colours for this plane are Light Green (FS34227), Pale Stone (FS 33531), Tan (FS 30219) on the topside and Pale Blue (FS 35622) on the underside and Orange (FS 32246) on the movable surfaces of the rudder.
Decal option #6: F-4E "Ahat" Sqn, Heyl'Ha Avir, during the Yom Kippur War in October 1973. The colours for this plane are Light Green (FS34227), Pale Stone (FS 33531), Tan (FS 30219) on the topside and Pale Blue (FS 35622) on the underside and Dark Green (FS 34079 and Pale Grey (FS 36622) on the drop tanks and Red (FS 31136) on the movable surfaces of the rudder.
Decal option #7: RF-4E "Ha'Patishim" (Hammers) Sqn, Heyl'Ha Avir, 1983. The colours for this plane are Compass Grey (FS36320) on the topside and Ghost Grey (FS 36375) on the underside. This plane has a black and yellow checker board pattern on the movable surfaces of the rudder.
Decal option #8: F-4E "Ha'Patishim" (Hammers) Sqn, Heyl'Ha Avir, in October 1973. This aircraft is one of the 36 USAF Phantoms transferred to the IDF/AF during the Yom Kippur War. It flew combat missions in SEA-Camouflage. The colours for this plane are Tan (FS 30219), Dark Green (FS 34079) and Green (FS 34102) on the topside and Pale Grey (FS 36622) on the underside.
For Stencils it is recommended you use stencils from Hi-Decal Line sheet 48008.
These decals are clearly printed in register and appear very thin so they should conform beautifully. The small stencil writing is quite clear and readable on the 1/48 sample I have before me.
