Model drill with cylindrical shank, with a diameter of just 0.4 mm. It is made from high-speed steel (HSS), a high-alloy tool steel made from metals such as chrome, vanadium and tungsten. Thanks to the use of this material, the drill bit is characterised by high hardness, good wear resistance and retains its original shape over a long period of time. It can be successfully used for drilling various metals, copper components, but also plastics - both soft and hard (e.g. polystyrene or styrene). Thus, it will prove very useful in plastic modelling. It is particularly recommended for precision tasks such as reaming ship barrels, cannon barrels of tanks and combat vehicles in 1:35 or 1:72 scale, or the barrels of airplane machine guns.
